Comparable Clinical Pregnancy Rates Versus IM Progesterone1

 

Study design: Results of a prospective, randomized trial of 99 women receiving luteal phase support for an IVF-ET/ICSI cycle. Patients were randomized to receive Crinone 8% (90 mg QD) or IM progesterone (50 mg QD), starting on the day of oocyte retrieval.
  • Serum progesterone levels were significantly higher in the patients treated with IM progesterone versus Crinone 8%
