Study confirms quality concerns with pharmacy-compounded vaginal progesterone1

 

A recent study compared the quality of extemporaneously compounded progesterone vaginal suppositories received from 10 randomly selected compounding pharmacies across the United States.

  • 80% of pharmacies tested failed potency tests
